I'm going to meet the new love of my life today!

Ohhh yea today after work I'm going to pick up my SI. I'm sooo excited!! I was told it would be in between the 15th and 18th. But, for once their early not late. kinda funny it's a month ago today that I got my LX. So I'll post some pics when I pick her up. I know you've seen the SI before but this one is my baby so I have to shower her to the world lol

I read the title of this thread and thought you were referring to me. I was gonna say "I didn't get the memo..."

But alas, not true....

man, (or woman, as the case may be), that's a bold move, trading in a new car like that. You immediately lose some value because the dealership has to sell it as used. Plus you throw away the money you spent on tags/taxes/registration. I don't know how significant that is in Florida, but in Calif and other places I've lived like DC, registration is murder and so is sales tax.

On top of that, you're going to have to pump your Si with premium every time you fill up, during the highest oil prices ever.

But yeah, if it wasn't for all that, I'd trade my LX for an Si, too. Heeheee.

Well, for all you people that just want to talk negative about trading in a new car for the SI.... I would have taken a $5,000 loss for the SI.... I just picked it up and I'm in love... From the second I turned it on, to every tight turn I took, the best factory sound system I've heard in a car yet(I will be selling my subs), to every little thing in the car, outside the car EVERYTHING I LOVED IT!! After driving my LX for exactly a month today I can honestly say this car is in a class of it's own and in no way can the LX compare to the SI other than the obvious style. In the end I ended up taking about a $2,000 loss. I did trade in my car for $14,800(I paid $16,800 when buying it) but without paying taxes because it was a trade and fee's included I didn't end up losing the full $2,000. But, regardless of the loss as I said I'm fine with it and it's my GAIN in my eyes. And I'm sorry if you wouldn't pay an extra $3 or $4 per tank for a car such as this. But, I'd pay it any day.... So I'm done with my novel here are some pics lol Sorry the pics aren't so good they are on my phone and it's really bright out..

Me driving home....
