Zippo/Ronson Lighter fluid will do the trick just as well as goo gone. just don't use too much.

why in the world did you take off your civic badge? I thought about doing this, but even the type R is badged a civic. oh... meh.

you know what you SHOULD do? get the red 2.0L badge that's the same color as the Si badge and slap it where the civic badge was. at least that way it would even up the back end.

I put my rear emblem on yesterday (still waiting on the front from password since theyscrewed up and sent me two rears :slap:) because I got tired of waiting. I decided I'd drill new holes- ended up working out perfectly. I think I'm going to have to seal the old holes though, as water is getting in the trunk (tiny amounts, and I wouldn't be surprised if everyone who has the JDM badges is having that issue).

I took off the civic badge because I absolutely hate cleaning/waxing around all the little crevices in it...
I left the Si badge.

For the back JDM:
The white plastic pegs that fill the holes have rubber seals around them.
If you cut the pegs off the new badge (since they don't fit), you can simply leave the white plastic plugs in the holes and stuff them with the cut off pegs so that they stay snug.
That pretty much seals the holes.

I've seen other people that just taped over the holes (front and back) with small pieces of tape, and that will do the trick too.

It seems that I was just looking in the wrong section of Wal-Mart for goo gone.
I looked in automotive and hardware, but my friend said it was over in the area with laundry detergent.
Going to try that after work for my adhesive problem.

Let us know how your fog light install goes and tell me how you did it. I will be installing my HFP front lip on after the weather gets a lot better rather than this stupid ice crap.

I'm actually having the dealership do it.
After some finagling with them, they are going to honor the 1 yr warranty on dealer installed accessories even though I bought the parts online.

Thankfully, it didn't dip below 32 degrees up here last night.
And it was raining all night, so pretty much all the ice melted and was washed away.

It rained all night here in wichita and the temperature varied from 31 to 32. water in still areas froze, in areas where the rain was still falling water that was moving somewhat couldn't freeze.

I hate you...
It's 32 degrees with 90% humidity and 10mph wind here.
I had to use my ice scraper on my car, then on my nose this morning.

WOW.. I am REALLY pissed about this.

I took my car in at 8am this morning to have underbody spoiler and fog light kit installed, and they just called to tell me it's going to be more than a day's worth of work....

An entire day and all they got done was mounting the front lip and installing the brackets for the fog lights.. they didn't even get them installed or wired...

I should have just done it myself.

Fenton in Stillwater.

What's funny is, they only charged me for about an hour's worth of work...
(which was suprising to me because I just knew going in that I was going to get in a huge arguement if they tried to overcharge me)

The work they did was good, but they sure should have gotten more than an hour's worth done in 8 hrs...
Especially since I set up the appointment almost a week in advance.

last night in my garage with a dremel, and this is the end result!

I need to make a couple more adjustments, and finish the wiring because I didn't have time to do that. looks pretty good, though! what does everyone think?

I've never been one for side mounted turns (aesthetically), but they sure are functional.
