N.O. Meet Saturday Nov 17th

Ok so first off our last meet in Natchez, MS was AWESOME... Soooo I figure since I wasnt able to make it to the first meet in New orleans we should try it again.. The way my schedule is I will be off the weekend of Nov 17th..

I am open for suggestions on what we can do....

Ok So far here are the suggestions I have:

1) Eating at the Beau Rivage
2) Eat at an awesome authentic New Orleans Rest
3) Visiting the Lakefront

Somthings I personally would like..

1) Has anyone ever been to this fort?

I'm in if I'm free that weekend. I haven't been to a meet in a long time. Maybe we can hit up the lakefront.

haha great minds think alike... Where are all these N.O. people I keep hearing about? We should have one of the largest meets on this site..

I'm in for sure. I will try to come up with some other options on things to do. I know bowling has been one of the things to do at the meets. I have yet to go bowling with you guys, so maybe we could do that. If possible, maybe a BBQ at the lakefront, or just meet at the lakefront. If it wasn't destroyed by the hurricane, I know Chalmette had a plantation, and it is known for "oak alley". There is also a battlefield in Chalmette we could go see. Dunno, just trying to throw some options out there.

Awesome ideas man.. I looked at the Battle of Chalmette and the house that sits there.. Those look like it would be really interesting.. And I like the BBQ idea to.. Know any good places the could hold the amount of people coming?
