Orlando, FL 10/06/07 meet pics/talk

well its finally over. great job to "Ortiv" for hosting the event on SUCH short notice (the credit is all you buddy!!). sorta impressed with the turnout given the timeframe. always nice meeting new ppl too & learning new things from those ppl about our lovely FG2/FA5s... never a dull moment.

for those not there today:

*met @ Waterford Towers across from Waterford Towne Center @ 5pm. 6 Si's & 2 Fits show (2 of my friends from OrlandoForums.com)
*a sprinkle of rain just to piss off those whom spent HOURSSSSS cleaning their cars *cough me for example cough*
*dry clean fresh air
*DOWNPOUR & eventual roll-out to Bithlo/OSW/Oval Track...
*just before 6pm, showed up @ the circle track for Drift Night 4 hosted by FloridaDrift.com
*chat (SHOULD TAKEN PICS D'OH!!) & seat ourselves to watch some locals rip it up (literal?? ) on the circle track w/ banking & an interior course setup.
*6 of the original 8 ppls stay for awhile.
*couple hours later, slowly the number dwindles.

i stayed with Phil 'til almost 10:30pm & chatted up a couple of my buddies from CFBMW.org local as well. watched some more drift action then called it a night.

had a lil brief sprint w/ my friend Matt's e36 M3 for grins, hung w/ it until 4th gear then he just starting walkin' away. ask Phil for proof!

enjoyed it. like Phil said, we need to do this sorta local stuff more often. SOOO many local 8thgens around. always nice to do a BIG meet but even still nice to do the local thing too to cut down on wait time & planning a lil.

enjoyed myself thoroughly & hope to do it again soon.

yessir indeed! he had his Fit on order thru Honda for like 4-5 months. so it was "birthed" becuz he put a deposit down on it not cuz it was just ordered for inventory. he changes up the wheels like weekly it seems. good friend of mine. :)
