Went to the Hard Rock Casino last friday for the first time. It's pretty bad ass. Of course it lacks the "flair" of typical casinos, which IMO is a good thing. Lot's of history there. They have a guitar in front of the Hard Rock Cafe by Dimebag Darrell (Pantera) that was washed away by Hurricane Katrina but returned by a good citizen. It is visibly tattered, cracked, and faded. I thought that was cool. They also have, for a limited time, the first piece of memorabilia ever submitted to the Hard Rock's collection. Yes, the Red Fender of Eric Clapton is on display just before you enter the casino. All in all the place is phenomenal. The parking garage is very friendly to those who get lost easy!

If you can make multiple right turns, you're in business.
The cons were that beers in the cafe were about 7 bucks a piece!

It was crowded, but it's typical.
All in all, just a place to consider.

okay .... all of you who have eaten at these buffets in the past ... which one should we choose .... which one has the best food, best atmosphere, best place for pics, etc..... I am not concerned which one is the least expensive.

true. I paid $32/person for a buffet in Vegas (Mirage casino) and I'd do that daily if I could... in fact I do every time I get to Vegas.

The casinos (including the Isle of Capri) here in Lake Charles usually have the crab legs on the weekends... I'm sure the ones in Biloxi do as well. Sooo .... Isle of Capri???

I think it was decided to be at Isle of Capri Casino so we can get seafood buffet. I'll be there around 5-530 pm

Meet at the top of their parking ramp.

My impression is this:

Meet up in the ramp and hang out while others roll in.
Seafood buffet
hang back out in the ramp or throw a couple of dollars in the slots for the "of age" people. Jamey and Bride (and others?) will head to their show
Darkness descends and some night photos can happen
call it a night at some point.

I know that I have a Ridgeline meet at noon in New Orleans the next day, so I won't be there all night.

I always called it the "Pile of Debris Casino". I'm down...just got back from Orlando yesterday. Installed the Injen CAI and HFP front lip on the ride. Now for cleaning!
