July 4th...

Just wondering if anyone had plans for July 4th. For lunch I have a BBQ with the family. After that I am pretty sure me and the better half are free. I was just curious to see if ya'll would like to get together and catch a firework show or something around the New Orleans area for the evening/night,etc.Could probably get some good night pics.!

We'll all have to pick a definite place. I just may leave the time to ya'll. I was thinking maybe 2-3ish but we can plan for the next few weeks.

For a second I thought I read that Jamey was hosting a BBQ... then I woke up.

I might be able to put off my trip to Florida for a day. Count me in for now

Does the city do anything special around the French Quarter?

This will probably take a little looking up. Don't know as of now. I'm open to any suggestions. I would need time to do a BBQ tho. Not this 4th but it def could happen later.

we could have a bbq at my house though i doubt yall would want to drive that far.but if anyone would want to my house is always open.

Believe me I understand about the drive. The first thought I had would be to meet again in BR but that may even be a far drive for some. Don't know.
