I looked at the classes... where do I put my Ridgeline? hahaha... nope, not a toyota, not a Nissan/Frontier.... weird. Not like I would enter it as it's not lowered at all, but I know of some that are by 2 inches.

Curious... if everyone is cruising the beach on saturday night... who will watch? :)

You should put it in the "under construction" class

Not my style for sure, but you need to look at the Scrapin' site again and then the photos... this would likely win.

Did you see all of the classes? A lot more than trucks. Of course it's low riders... the name says it all..."scrapin'" It appears to be if you are lowered and have a custom vehicle, you can enter their contest. The best of the best of these things will be there.

I appreciate all sorts of custom work if it's done well. What, it won't be cool seeing the burnout contest? oh, it will. This is what life is about, seeing all sorts of things, different than what you normally do/see/experience. I am still in.

I love trucks, they were my first love until i got into the import scene, i still love them too (well most of them).
You gotta be open to what you see, and what drives them to do it isn't much different from what drives us to maximize our cars.

From what i saw in the gallery, there is going to a bunch of rice too. And that is always fun to look at.

Heh well I live here, I make it a point to stop by the show once to see everything. I actually work at one of the host hotels for the event, we get some tickets I think to attend. It's a really good show, and all the guys that show up are really cool and care a lot about their rides. It's a very fun weekend, the showe gets bigger and bigger every year.

for all of you who might be thinking that this is a "lowrider" show, YES there will be that kinda stuff there, but i guarantee it'll be worth your time...there'll be customized cars of all shorts there.

Its a lot of fun, I've been before ;-)

just like crusin the coast, its supposed to be old antique cars crusing up and down hwy 90, but you see old lady's in a 87 oldsmobile doin burn outs and the read lights.

fun fun fun.

Please don't NOT go, cause you think it's a lowrider only thing.

and add me to the list Jay
