Anybody have any experience with using an air filter cleaner kit? I'm getting really shitty MPG's, and I figure this could be one reason for it. Any help would be appreciated.

I almost bought that K&N kit about an hour ago, but figured I'd ask about any experiences with it first. Do you just spray the stuff on the filter, and let it dry out, or is it more involved than that?

it has instructions.......get loose shit off by shaking it or using a toothbrush....then spray the cleaner on it let it sit for 20 mins.........run it under light water until all the red oil is gone....u know when its clean cause the filter wont have the red to it.....shake it to get it somewhat dry then let it dry for a whileeeeeee naturally....... then spray the filter oil from the outside until it gets that red back(DONT USE TO MUCH) let it dry for bout 20 mins....if needed spray some more(thats if it has spots that didnt get oiled.....then after its dry and looks right slap that bitch in.......its easy but time consuming

Brian, you feel confident enough that just you and I can do coilovers for Chris? I've helped out in 3 installations but just haven't done the whole thing. Josue hasn't messaged me back forever.
