rich and lean describes the air to fuel ratio....

rich means the car is using too much fuel.... it makes the car run a little cooler but is no good for power

lean is when there is more air than fuel..... it can make the car run hot and can damage ur engine very easily if overdone. this though gives the car more power...

i think thats the jist of it..... maybe someone else can describe it better.

I thought you would say something pervish and funny. I'm kinda disappointed.

insurance ftw! drunk driver hit me and justin and took off so the insurance gave me money to fix the rear bumper. it was cheaper to get a front and rear lip as the damage on the rear bumper would be covered...

Lean mixtures produce hotter combustion gases than does a stoich mixture. so much so that pistons can melt as a result.

Any mixture less than 14.7 to 1 is considered to be a rich mixture, any more than 14.7 to 1 is a lean mixture. Lean mixes when consumed produce less power than does the stoich mixture.

Moral of the story, Leaning out your motor is not the proper way or THE way to produce more hp. Again, Like I said Mark, with what you have you are not in a position to gain hp by leaning out your motor.

I saw a blue FG2 at Taylors Sports & Imports this past weekend. Someone said it was turbo. Had a few gauges underneath the radio. Anyone on here?
