Dilusion and inclusion. If you have one big meet, many people can't drive that far or have schedule conflicts. If you have a bunch of small local meets, everyone gets to go, but the meets are much smaller and unsatisfying.
There is a middle ground on this, and I think that is what we are trying to work out. If the Houston meet busts 20+ signed up, I think it's worth it to schism off a Houston city meet. Obviously, no offence, but I don't think that a Beaumont, TX city meet is going to be that big. Well, actually there has been a Beaumont meet every day, and every 8thcivic.com member from this area shows up without fail. In my garage. |
