South FL April 28th G2G and Cruise..Miami Beach
..Finally an official date.
Saturday April 28th 2007 Time: 3:00pm-whenever I have not confirmed yet if it is ok to Grill and bring food or w/e, so between now and the time of the G2G i will figure that out and let everyone know. The directions have been provided below. Professional photography will be on site, so clean her up and nice, and be sure to heed the warning below: It is right before getting to fisher island..I'm sure we could use the grill down there, there's always ppl fishing in that spot..I will make sure with the local authorities just to be safe if we could, and if there's going to be any event that weekend at the parrot jungle..since they use this spot for parking. One thing I will like to point and I'm making it clear so I don't hear any complaints later on.. This spot does not have alphalt so your car will get dirty if you don't bring newspapers or something to prevent dirt from messing up your car ..that's all, I don't really think there's any address to it, but using the address for The Parrot Jungle will get you right to our spot. Directions are simple, head South on I-95 and exit East on 395(McArthur Causeway) which take you to Miami Beach, as soon as you go over the bridge downtown Miami is seen on the right..stay on the right hand side and take the entrance to Watson Island..follow it around, the spot is right underneath the Hwy395. Nice nice..alright ppl, I know there isn't only 7-8 of us in S.FL, so join the list!
I'm heading right now to check if there will be anything going on that weekend..already checked the parrot jungle's scheduled and nothing is up for the 28th-29th so we'll see.. |

Well im working that saturday till about 5:00. Ill be more then happy to head down there. It's not a short little drive. Probally about 30-45 mins or so. I dont wanna make that drive unless I know for sure that there are people down there. Is there anyone who is willing to give me there cell number so on that date I can give a call when im getting out to see how it is going? It would be much appreicated. alright, here's the deal..I spoke a Miami Parking authority worker that was parked by the site and according to him it wouldn't be a problem for us to park there..like I said before, ppl go there to fish so and their cars are parked right on that spot..
..however, there are No Dumping/No Standing signs posted around there.. I gave the city of Miami a call, but didn't finish talking to them..I feel if I let them know what we'll be doing that weekend, they'll must likely would wanna charge us for parking there, so fvck that.. I say lets go on with it and if someone shows up, we'll just move from underneath the Hwy to the street right next to it right in the island and do the photo shoot there.. |
