1st Official Houston Meet!!!!

hey guys i was thinking about arranging a meet to Starbucks on postoak and westiemer in the galleria on Friday Nov. 10 (this friday) around 8PM.

what do you guys think?

just a suggestion about about we start small like meeting up at local meets such as planet zero, TC and unleashed.
TC is every wed at the taco cabana closest to beltway 8 off of westimer
planet zero and unleashed dates are both posted on H-I (houston-imports)

as far as having a meet this friday i dont think i can make it out. but i can say last time i went to a meet for the 8thgen only two other people showed up... kind of disapointing.

but hope u guys have a good turn out

I also own a Honda Ridgeline and we had our first Gulf Coast meet at Abita Brewery (Abita Springs, LA) and had 6 trucks show. We have scheduled our second meet at the USS Alabama in Mobile, AL for 12/2 and already have 4 confirmed, 5 possible and 7 can't make it in 2 days of the meet being scheduled.

It is possible that an event will draw a crowd more than something small. At the Brewery, we took the brewery tour, with free beer, and then ate a the brewery Pub. At the USS Alabama, we will meet between 1130 amd and noon, then look at each others rides, tailgate, tour the battleship and of course get some photos. At 3 pm, we'll meet back up and head out to a restaurant.

So I am just making a suggestion and giving you an idea of what can work.

i would come but this is last minute and i will be at work. but i work IN the galleria so when the mall closes and if i get off early enough i can swing through. can sedans come?

of course any type of 8tyh gen can some :) . I thought about meeting up at some of the meets on H-I but i wanted to try to make our own once :P

Post Oak and Westiemer? That kinder crowded spot aint it

Need open space so the group could park together. Me, maybe, no promise, depend on my mood swing on that day. Second, I kinder live far away from the spot. All the way near Bush airport in Humble. If I do show up, look for tinted silver sedan

Funny, I pull up to a starbuck today. There was a silver coupe park two space from my car. I didn't know who own that car. It must be an old folk. Because that all people that I could see at that time

Yeah, that parking lot never has spots. How bout the Best Buy near there? We really just need a parking lot with more room. Either way I'll roll through and if no one's there, i'll just hit the Jamba Juice.

im down at the moment it looks like i will be free :) but the only concern i have is that this meet will get broken up... i guess if its not that big we wont have to worry. but for the next one if their is a next one (which i hope there will be!) we should get clearance to avoid cops.
