A dead dog ran out infront of me!!!

Alright, it was about 5 in the morning and it was still dark as I was driving down the road toward the place I work when all of a sudden there was a dead dog lying in the middle of my lane with its legs stiff, up in the air. Now, as all of you know, the civic is low...too low when it comes to dodging things in the middle of the road. So next thing I know, there is a KABLAM from the dogs legs hitting the front of the car. I pulled over immediately to look for damage, and luckly found nothing...except for BLOOD and HAIR! To matter matters worse, I had an appointment with Honda that morning at 7 to get my oil changed. Great...they are going to look under the car as they lift it up and see guts everywhere. It would take 30 min to get home and 30 min to get to Honda. So yea, I drove home and layed under the car with shop towels, clorox, and water as I scraped the blood and hair out from between the joints where metal bolted together. I barely made it to Honda for my appointment.

So just watch out for those dead dogs...

+1 for Honda making flexible bumpers

And it was a good thing I didn't have an HFP kit on!!

I think I would have had to leave it all on there just to see the tech's face when he goes to change the oil. Sucks for the dog....atleast it didn't hurt the car.

Aww. Thats awful. I live in Arkansas so we have armadillos EVERYWHERE. I swerved to miss one going about 70 and CENTERED IT. Nice little crunch. I could feel it under my seat. GROSS. No damage done thanks to the soft plate armor on it.

Last time I was out practicing AutoX, there was a dillo roaming around the parking lot when we came back from buying Gatorade. Kept trying to add itself as another cone in our slalom )=
