I have been working so damn much i have not had time to post. I also bitched out on the last Si meet we had because of rain and work. We DO need to get a crew together though. i would drive to SA to throw down with some RSXs and TSXs.
its been awhile since you've been on here
the Austin group seems to be growing pretty quickly
hopefully there will be a meet soon so we get to meet everyone

a good start would be a cold-air intake
i've installed my cousin's and it a great first mod (his is injen)
i suggest connecting yourself to the car
lots of practice getting to bonding with the car will come a long way
and btw, its free

i'll be happy to help anyone if they provide the tools, the location, and if i have the time

Dang 8 pages, and I didnt even see this thread. Im from houston but I go down to austin about 4 times a month. Figi Fg2 cleared headlights and debadged mostly for exterior mods. To many other little mods to list atm.

If anyone needs tint and they are in houston, id recommend Executive Motorsports off I-10 and Gessener few blocks down gessner. (Sorry dont know the cross street). They do real good work and take care of imports. Theyll do almost anything you need to. I did 10%f/5%r

pulleys isn't much of a challenge, although i've never done myself
i know someone that can do it
about the intake mani, you know you have the best one currently on the market
most of the type-s guys swap theirs out (me soon too) to the rbc(06-07 si mani)
reguarding the gasket, the same person can do that for you as well and he can sell one to you because he gets them in bulk (hondata gasket)

i did not know that about our mani... good to know! do you know if installing springs is a PITA? probably the only exterior mod i would do aside from maybe darkening my rims a bit. i think dark(er) gray would look dope with the habanero. maybe even a mellow copper color? that may be a bit much, though. ah, the possibilities are endless!

PITA? sorry for my ignorance
i hate doing suspension installations
its just so time consuming, for me at least
but again, the person i'm referring can pretty much get the job done

he's the go to guy for car part upgrades for rsx's in Austin
he's been learning about the si's as well so his knowledge will be a big help

oh, sorry - PITA = Pain In The Ass. my limited experience has been that it's more trouble than it's worth to do it yourself, but this was on a '95 Accord with coilovers ( - - never again).
