DFW Arlington Meet

Hey guys,

Im going to try and start up a meet every other Thursday night at 7:30pm starting on July 27th. It will be in the parking lot behind Cafe Hana on Cooper Street.

Let me know if anyone is interested. Me and some friends typically go there on thursday nights because its $1 Sake night, that is if your 21...but even if your not they have good food, and the parking lot behind there is usually pretty empty so there is plenty of room.

Any make and model is welcome to come out. Just keep it friendly and no racing/burnouts/excessive acceleration near the meet please. Id like to keep the police from having an excuse to bother us.

Just a little info...
Off Bryant Irvin rd. (off 820) there is already a meet behind hooters in the business' parking lot. Every thursday starting roughly around 7:30.
It's a lot of different makes/models but off the top of my head last week there was an NSX, a couple of STi's, evo's, srt-4, assload of vic's and tegs, etc. etc..
When the guy that organized this whole weekly 'dig shows up again he'll be in his new Murcielago (spelling??) with about 12 supras pushing 700-1200 hp.

It's good times, a friend of mine and I go every thursday. So far only 2 new si's have been spotted there though. But you can fix that tho, right?

I will try and make it out. But i wont be able to this week, and depending what i hear maybe not next week either. But ill come check it out when i get the chance. Sound pretty interesting.

Just letting you know I'm around A-town. I doubt I'll make it however. Don't take it personal, just busy that's all. :) Cafe Hana is about 1 block from my son's daycare but I've never noticed it. Is it next to Cafe Pulido's? Oh, nevermind, I see Pulido's is a block over on Matlock. :)

Well, no one really responded. But i will be there with some friends at 7:30 on the 27th. Ill hang around outside till around 8. If you show up after that we will be in the restraunt.

Will you be meeting again on the 10th? I live in southwest Arlington and go to Cafe Hana with my wife alot. Just not on Thursday's.

I was planning to be there on the 10th. I usually go every other thursday. Ill be there at 730pm and ill wait outside till around 8pm or so. But just so you know, no one from the forumns here showed up, but most of my friends did. so that was about 5 cars, so i suppose thats not too shabby for the first meet.

No one has shown at the meet off bryant irvin either. I know there has got to be some funkytown residents on here..
Depending on how things work out I might make it out there to the meet tonight... dunno. If I do it'll be with a friend of mine in his STi.

I live in Mesquite. I would like to see some other Si's and meet the owners, but going to Arlington or Irving is too far out of the way

thats cool, no big deal that you cant make it. Maybe next time. Ill still be there tonight with some friends if anyone else wants to come. Well be the bigger party inside if you get there after 8pm.

Ya, Damn the DFW area for being so spread out. Its a long drive from Mesquite to Arlington. Are you guys going to try and make the August 27th meet at River Legacy? Should be pretty damn big from what i am hearing.
