you guys also gotta make sure that the modifications done to the car is really in the car not just in writings/listings (ie; headers, img gaskets, reflash, nitrous,...etc), therefore, you must require pics or proof of this mods...

i hate when peoples parents pay for all their shit. Im 21 and sometimes noone believes me when i tell them ive paid for everything. Having a decent job gets me my shitz

I'm pretty sure we haven't run into that problem either but your suggestion is still valid.

The people who have their parents pay for everything (me included) are the ones that may not get anywhere in a career and will be driving hyundai's while people working their ass off now will be climbing up the corporate step ladder and driving bentley's and ferrari's.

You gotta remember that we are only driving civics. Not like our parents went out and bought us a lamborghini for our first car. It is a starter car no matter how you look at it

True about the mods. I just put it in there so it would be an even playing field. The other option is substitute the public for the mods. Make the list of those sponsored by certain sites public knowledge, and do the same thing I said the erst of the way down.

Not a bad idea.. though we'd have to make sure that the vendors aren't being biased to those who have made purchases from them as well

yeah, cause when i look at the ROTM voting poll i never saw a picture of some of the parts that are listed in his modifications...so we cant tell if this is legit or not...

Well most you have to admit the ROTM votes are more skewed towards aesthetics rather than performance so I'm sure the owners would take picture to accentuate the mods they feel will help them win. Am I right?

true that. Maybe if u want to accentuate your turbo you can take a nice front or semi angled shot that shows your front mount intercooler in it

thats right...so you don't need to have a perfomance mod to win the ride of the month just aesthetics, right?

Now I didn't say that.. a car with just aesthetics isn't going to get my vote if you ask me... It just helps but like jesh said.. there is no formula. Its the combined effort of it all.
