i like this idea. i have noticed that some of the people that get nominated have very few mods. its weird. i was talking to some friends about me running for ride of the month but since i dont have rims they said i probably would not win. i have almost everything but rims and still cant win. i think they should just be pictures and we vote on pics. did anyone also notice how the rep system was flawed. there were people with 8 8balls of rep. wtf is up with that shit. and toward the end they were getting a new 8 ball everyweek or two. all the mods and vips were doing were repping each other asap. i did whore the rep system but only had 2 8balls. /rant

Like I said previously.. its up to the members to take the time to research, but thats all dependant upon them.

Unless you change the way people get nominated again.....

I can agree with that.. the time I did decide to stick in for the voting section of ROTM... i knew i wasn't going to win because I was the only nominee without a lip kit..... how fair is that?

Maybe they should just get rid of ROTM all together. It is nothing but controversial anyway

yep. if you dont have a lip kit or rims dont even think about getting rotm. i love our stock rims. i guess im the only one.

ROTM's will always go to people who have the most mods, that are clean, and well JDM.

Thats the way it was on EPhatch.com.

If you wernt JDM you were gone
If you wernt boosted or swapped have a nice day
If you were boosted/swapped/jdm you win.

Which is pretty much garbage. Never really went to the unique ones.

I think we've had legitmate ROTM winners thus far....from what I can recall... It just kind goes that people with more mods will have a better chance of winning.

JDM is just an overused word anyway. No offense but a civic coupe can never be truely JDM because the car doesn't exist in Japan

I disagree. I won ROTM & I didn't have nothing compared 2 others, should not be who has more mods....if ur car looks HOT, it looks hot....all I have 2 say

I'm all for ROTM.. im just against some of the people that get nominated with minimal mods. A ROTM car should have hit most aspects of the car.. whether it be performance and/or aesthetics.

We can't quantify something that's purely subjective by using criteria (ie you need retros, HFP kit, coilovers, etc before you can be nominated).

It's also how tastefully mods are done.. you sir have gone against the grain and went above and beyond to stick out
