As for the paint, that's called reflection. It happens usually when light bounces of a shiny surface.

Somehow, I don't have any good pics of my engine bay or even my trunk for that matter (well, i don't count the one dark and crooked one I took for someone to show my false floor). I am going to be sure to take some as soon as spring time rolls around and I do my next shoot(s)

i love that ride height
i was thinking of just springs, but would i be better off with a whole kit,
camber coilover and all?

I was looking at your tint, its not very dark... does it block 25% of the light or let 25% light through? Or is it just the angle? Cause it looks like 35 or 40% tint. Just wondering if I'm seeing it right.

It is the legal limit for my state... 27% light emission... My tint allows 25% light through. or 25% VLT (visible light transmission)

For the most part, I think it's the picture, and the angle. If my windshield were tinted even 40% (illegal but i might do it), it would look much darker. If you look at this picture below, it looks like my side windows are 5%:
