i think themes will benefit the contest. make it more interesting to see who wins. also an added bonus for the winner to claim such title as "best gg"

^Are you saying there should be more than one catergory within the "ride of the month" contest?

Like out of the nominations, there should be best interior, best exterior, best performance, etc.?

No.. one each month.. like for "best turbo'd.. I couldn't apply.

OH!!! that makes alot more sense.... and it would give more people an oppurtunity to apply for ROTM. I know there are some turbo and s/c guys that don't get picked because they don't have very much of anything else.

so,someone with barely any mods but a turbo or a s/c should be nominated for ROTM

?I'm not understanding this thought process.IMO it's RIDE of the month,not RIDES of the month.There are enough well built cars on this site to keep this competition going for years to come.There's no reason to lower the standards or create additional contests within ROTM to give people more of a chance of winning.If someone does'nt have what it takes to win then they just don't win,there should'nt be any hard feelings involved,keep trying and or keep modding till you win.

I just thought it was a good idea because if you had catergories every month like best interior, best N/A setup, etc. it would make everything really complicated. But if we had a theme each month then it would be different. If the theme was for Best S/C'd, its not like you could throw on a s/c on a stock car and win... I'm sure there are some pretty nice sc'd cars out there that have alot more than just the s/c (i.e. the CTR converted Si with a Polished CT Blower and 24k gold wheels). Either way I just thought it was a good suggestion.

^That's what I understood from Jeshua's post. It's not MY idea so I don't know EXACTLY what he meant. It just sounded good.

I completely agree. The theme is nice, but nothing beats the BEST OVERALL.

how about a "hall of fame" so to speak for all of the ROTM winners?Maybe it could be a ROTM gallery or something visitors and members alike could view.
