My website built in Photoshop/Imageready
I started this website as a project in my digital design class. I took the class seriously and instead of just designing a website and hosting on the schools server to test it. I got my own hosting and designed the website for permanent use and designed it for a purpose.
I designed the site using Photoshop. Everything that you see is a result of using photoshop ( with the exception of certain parts like the blog and the video's, those are done using code.. ) I created everything in photoshop. And then took it into imageready to slice it up and prepare it for the web. This is where I did the rollovers. After all the rollovers were completed and the images were sliced, I imported the saved HTML files into Macromedia Dreamweaver, and I then did MINOR touches to the code provided by Imageready. Such as, I centered the site. And added a background image. However, the blog page took many many hours just to get it right. This is because I was using someone elses code and it is CSS not just html. So I had to visually search through the entire code to make minor changes like changing the background colors and what not. I did it mostly through trial and error to find out which piece of code actually changed what I wanted. After the colors were done, I added my sites layout to the top to allow for easy navigation. I still have lots of work to do on it. For Instance, I want to add the same background I have on all the other pages. But I need to figure out how to code that in so that its flexible with the the blog getting bigger with every post. But anyways. I hope u guys like it. I got a lot of work to do. I need to add all the other members and need more photos. But, other than that. Thats pretty much it. Oh. and I aced the class with flying colors with this website lol. Zero Lift Racing |

prevent damage
I was going to tape the entire front bumper and part of the hood and fenders like the guy with the porsche did. But decided not to because I was in a hurry to get on the road .. Too bad I didnt. A car went off course a couple turns in front of me so I didnt see it nor did I know it kicked a bunch of good sized rocks on the track.. I was racing an STI in front of me and when we got to the turn where the car went off, we didnt see the rocks in time to react. The WRX in front of me was just fine but it kicked up all the rocks on the front of my car .. left 1 small door ding like dent and a BUNCH of scratches and knicks in my paint. So its for that exact reason and unfortunatly I didnt listen to my gut instinct lol But thanks for the compliments. I appreciate that |
