First real attempt messing around with photoshop

I was messing around with a picture of my STi I took. Let me know what you think.. Any tips would be appreciated

It's a good start. Just need to control the halos.
The picture is overexposed so its hard to save details.

Tip: Underexposed images will retain detail while an overexposed image washes out detail.

Here's what I did to it. Not sure if you like it.

Thanks... I did it again with this one.. I changed the grill and headlights.. I also got rid of the pole..

I see a lot of glare and light reflections from the hood, especially on the first set. You can reduce it and probably get control of the sky too with a polarizer filter. What camera are you using?

I didn't have my polarizing filter when I took these pictures. I am using a Canon Rebel XTi...

you're going to want to make the clone stamping smaller... your sky is really obviously chopped up.

Also I see some dodge/burn marks I think around the car and in the sky that look a little awkward. You want to work on a nice blend and not leave rough patches.

You could also try sharpening the image and adjusting for distortions

id suggest removing the airplane bits that are behind the car, they are a little distracting since you cant see most of the plane. Makes it look like the car has a tail assembly growing out of it
