Noobie questions

I have a few PS noobie questions
1) I downloaded the 30 free try, and I thought I saw that it said the whole download was only $99. Was I reading this correctly? I thought I read somewhere on here that it was something crazy like $700.

2)I was reading some tutorials and the guy that wrote them used two terms, lasso and polygonal(sp) lasso. Are these one in the same? I think that I have a pretty steady hand, but it seems like there should be an easier way to make perfectly straight lines to cut out.

1.) Uhm no. $99? I bought mine at around $1000+ with some additional plugins. It should be around $700+ IIRC.

2.) Polygonal is under Lasso (Polygonal Lasso). Basic Lasso let's you drag around and make shapes before you cut/copy the image. Polygonal Lasso will start with straight lines until you click again (To make another straight line). There is another Lasso tool and it's Magnetic Polygonal Lasso Tool.

I downloaded the program for free using limewire....I also burned it on disc....that's all I can say for now.....I don't want to be arrested if I happen to sell an illegal copy :looks around:

Oh wth. I feel cheated by limewire, with their "Use this for trial only and if you like it buy it" policy that lets them get away with every copyrighted material.

I have never paid for any pc program becasue of Limewire...good for me, bad for companies. They also won't notice you unless you let your library exceed 10,000 files. 2 years back my friend hacked into microsoft and took 100 key generators. He made a bundle selling pirated copies. Only drawback is now I can't receive updates and even newer programs from microsoft

Was your friend the one who hacked microsoft or he simply FOUND a key generator lying around the internet...? Updates updates updates...Go Macintosh.

I can't say 100% for sure which. I do know from watching him that he has hacked sites such as Adobe but microsoft, I just have his word
