TUT: Color Change
In this tutorial I will be teaching you how to change the color of an object.
For the object I will be using a wheel since thats one of the most common things asked to do on this forum. There are many other ways of going about changing the color of an object, but this is the way Ive learned and have found it easiest. Step 1. Open picture you are wanting to edit and select the Magic Wand (circled in red). ![]() Step 2. Now take the Magic Wand you just click and start clicking on the object that you want to color change. To add parts of the object press: Shift + Click To remove parts of the object press: Ctrl + Click You will also need to mess with the Tolerance (circled in red) to get the right sized areas selected. ![]() Step 3. The next step once you have all the areas of the object selected is to press (Ctrl+U). This will bring up your Hues/Saturation Palette. From here select Colorize (circled in red). Once that is selected just tinker with the different slides to get the exact color you want. I will be going with Gold. ![]() Step 4. From here you will need to click ok to finalize your color change. Once thats done look over the image to make sure you didnt miss a step. If you did Repeat Steps 2-3 until everything is the way you want it. Step 5. This is the Final Product. From here just save. ![]() |

what i like to do instead sometimes is to use the "colour" tool from the drop down menue in the last picture. and setting the flow to ~10-20% then you can replace the colour to how ever you like from the colour pallet...
