Whats up guys,

Im new at this photography art thing, and wanted to see how your VERY FIRST PICTURES taken compared to your most recent. Just to bring everyone back to their noob moments. And me being new it would help to see how everyone started out and how they have progressed over a couple snaps on your camera. So post your Oldest pic that you have, and then the most recent one right after. Here are mine. I just bought a Nikon D40. I know not that great but I heard its all about your composition and lens. Correct me if Im wrong. Here are two pictures I toke that night in my computer room right after getting my camera. Constructive critiques are welcome.

P.S. I need to learn the camera more, and how to focus better. lol Oh and any tips are welcome.

No, my first photo was of my manual to test and make sure the camera focuses and meters fine

That one I posted was prolly the first real photo that I put some thought in.
