Lens Comparison

Hey guys, I just wanted to get opinions on which lens is better in terms of picture quality and low light capability. Let me know which ones you've used and you like better.

telephoto:
Canon 70-300 F/4-5.6 IS (lens i have)
Canon 70-200 F/4L (lens i want to switch to)

walkaround:
Canon 18-55 kit lens (lens i have)
Canon 17-85 F/4-5.6 IS (lens i want to switch to) OR
Sigma 24-70 F/2.8 EX DG Macro (lens i want to switch to)

wide angle: (i don't have either of these lenses)
Canon 17-40 F4L
Sigma 17-70 F2.8-4.5 DC Macro
