The green donation bin is too distracting...it takes away the focus from the car. Couple of the pictures are a little on the dark side but that can always be adjusted via photoshop. Congrats on your purchase and just have alot of fun snapping pictures

yeah i too was gonna mention green bin. did you take any without it? i think just the wall would make a great pic. but the lost ones with the bin behind it isnt as bad because its not like theres 2 main objects in the pic. and its easier to comment pics when they are numberd :)

'tis a good point, and i dont think i wouldve ever thought of that about the green box...

i know lots of things can be adjusted w/ photoshop. but in order to get the most out of a photo + chopping... im gonna wanna start w/ a great base photo

good idea, i didnt start editing photos until about a month ago or less, which means i spent 5 months or so with no editing i think it really help me out so that i didnt rely on photoshop to make a decent pic.

Yea, ive done some light PS work in the past with many different kinds of images. in that experience i've learned that its always easiest to get your desired output when starting with a good base

ASM looks very sexy when there's lots of different colored lighting around, and when it's night. Looks the sexiest, IMHO. Even out does white, which I still prefer, and that's saying something!

BTW, nice little tip for shooting at the front of cars. Make sure the headlight (I think for our cars, it's better to focus on the "Si") is in focus. It's the part that most people look at first, and if its OOF, then it's ALL OOF (or apparently so).

I like the fact that you're trying to stay out of extreme angles.

Get composition down before photoshop. You could either get a book or I'm sure there are tons of sites that will teach you the basics. Looking at pictures and trying to mimic them also helps.. not trying to recreate, but mimic

Your focus is a lot closer than most people when they do angled shots like that.

And I hate your UWA. LOL.

Nice purchase, I kind of wish I bought the XTi instead of the XT but I'm still happy with mine. I guess there's not much difference besides the resolution and the screen size.

Oh and Avic D3 FTW!

Resolution in terms of megapixels is greater, yet, but image quality is roughly the same. Either camera is a great buy.
