Izzy, I like the first one as well. But your dad ruins the shot. If he was a she and a pretty 20-something year old, then maybe I would say differently.

Looks like I'm going back to the Hotel to take a few more pics then, when I have the chance. I did those two shots, literally, while we were walking to the reception hall. I really did think the staircase shape was fairly interesting...let's see if I can improve on it.

My entry



Setup used:
Lap top with screen flipped up with my green sweatshirt over it. Lamp was the only lighting used.

I was trying to create a sharp shadow of the card edges but I couldn't space out the cards well enough to create a shadow on all cards. I believe the straight and curved edges as well as the round poker chips qualifies this as a geometry entry. If others don't agree, i'll pull my entry.
