I tweaked the color balance in C1 though so id have to resubmit the second in its original light color which was a yellow sodium lamp

yea, its not too bad, ive also got an old 28-105 with a busted AF but thats one of the lenses that used to be better than the L series lenses, unfortunately no one has parts for the USM af in it anymore

From what I've seen, the 28-135 isn't that vivid when it comes to colors and isn't sharp enough. Maybe I'm just being picky .. But honestly, I can tell when iLL FG2 uses his .. the colors look washed out.. lol.

I think it's a good topic, but, at least up here in CT it's kinda hard to shoot for it. Not many bugs out there except for the typical house spiders. I think in another 2 months or so it'd be a really fun one to shoot with lots of insects and tons of plants starting to bloom.
