Yeah, luminescence. Change the yellow to make the color "pop" more.
It's okay too, I usually look at pictures, saying I could do stuff to it...however, me actually doing it...well, that's one in a million! Edit: I want some feedback on the Mamiya TLR I took. ![]()

I will post results of such when I get home. All I did was mess with hues and luminescence, no dodge/burn. Added some vignetting. Also, in fairness (to me) I was shooting in AI Focus -- that day was windy! You're right though, Adobe Lightroom will only improve some post processing, I don't think the dodge/burn tool is included in that.

Lightroom is great for quick editing, like what I usually do. It's awesome how you can copy exposure settings, hues, etc, so you can just paste those settings on other images! Great if you're lazy to set white balance all the time (like me) or you found that you over/underexposed a set of pictures.
It's pretty powerful, as a mass editor because of it, as well as organizing the images you have. The only caveat is that it's not as intensive as Photoshop itself. So, dodging, burning, layering, all has to get done in CS2.

I like your shot of the Mamiya, how do you do something like that, what kind of lighting? A softbox? |

I'll take a picture of my store's (I manage an eBay store) lighting booth. It's fairly dirty in actuality, and it's an expensive camera, so I brought my camera to bear.
I just really liked how it turned out, that was done with little editing (white vignetting instead of black). Product photography FTW! And yes, RAW is awesome. Takes up more space, but makes up for it with how flexible it is compared to other formats.

Don't know if these are "professional" enough, criticism welcome. I am just starting out. These are a couple pics I took while playing around with my new Nikon 50mm f/1.8. Doesn't autofocus on my D40, but nice lens.
