help! just got D40 and encountered a problem! :(

Hey guys I bought the D40 finally and when I put it together and take my first shot I notice a red spec on it and every other picture I take. Its probably dust that got onto the sensory. I got a cleaning cloth and I dont know how to proceed. Any help!?>?!

Thanks

Um, is this in your LCD or pictures that come out? If it's in your LCD it's a dead or stuck pixel.

Nah it should be covered under warranty. You can exchange it from where you bought it or get it fixed/a new one from the company that made it. It's a common problem among things that use LCD, so no biggie.
