World-Class Photography with a $200 Camera!

Wilson Tsoi took stunning photos with a Canon A620 point-and-shoot camera.
Just goes to show how much more important talent is than equipment!

Simply amazing, if you ask me!

While the photos weren't edited in Photoshop, most of the finished images shown on that site were made by taking two different pictures and integrating them together. If you click the details link under the picture it tells you all the technical information.

One of the most obvious ones were the shots of the brick and water reflecting a house in which both were in focus. He admits to taking two different pictures at different focal lengths and combining them, however I'm sure many people see it and completely believe that his A620 took a picture like that.

Other than that, he really does know how to work that camera. I rarely get results like that with my $450 point and shoot camera.

I've seen that site from a link off of Ken Rockwell's site. It just goes to show that you don't need a fancy camera to take amazing pictures. I hope his site inspires some of you to take part in this month's 8thCivic photography challenge.

It beats those $600 cell phones with built in cameras
