I know of about 35 members that will probably be there but a couple of them drive other cars. I haven't heard from several of the folks on the list in the last few months but there will also probably be a few that show up out of the blue.

Paul, I hope having less people than is on the "I'll be there" list doesn't keep you from coming. We should have at least 30 new Civics there.

I'm heading up to the Dragon this weekend to conduct business. I'm going to be staying at Phillips Motel for $60 per night. I'll give my review of it when I get back for those of you who might be looking for a cheaper place to stay.

Edit: I paid an extra $5 per night for a room with a recliner.

Mine's the rocking Habanero Red Si.

The windows are tinted, but at the right angle you could probably make a youtube video.

Yes I'm bringing the wife.

I'm in Robbinsville right now at Phillips Motel. I must say this place is very nice for $65 per night. I highly recommend it. Where I expected the lobby to be actually turned out to be where the proprietors live. They deal with you with a set-up sort of like a drive-thru at the bank.

It lacks the beautiful location and many of the facilities of Tapoco Lodge but the rooms are nicer. The grounds are nicely landscaped and they have a restaurant right next door. The biggest drawback is that Robbinsville Elementary School is directly across the street so the view sucks. I would definitely recommend it over the Microtel and it is a great alternative to the lodge for those who want a cheaper place to stay. It's about like home right now because I'm sitting in the recliner with my Macbook on my lap.

I rode the jet boats today and it was a fun trip. I couldn't help but think they were taking it a little easy though because there were several senior citizens riding with us. I asked them about it later and they said they do adapt the ride to the type of passengers aboard. On the bus to the dock, the driver gives you a little history lesson about the area which is then continued while on the jet boat. The jet boat is powered by a 502 Chevy big-block and can do near 360 degree spins.

Later, I stopped by Tapoco and finalized things with Marsha. I found out that the lodge has finally begun to enter the modern age with a TV in every room. I forgot to ask her about phones though. There is wireless internet in the lodge building as well.

I just got back from another Dragon run. I had a good run going for several miles until I got behind a few cruisers who were trying to see how slow they could go in corners without laying down their bikes.

I stopped by Pizzeria Venti and talked to Adam who is the manager there. The pizza there is delicious! Everything is set up for us to be there for Saturday lunch.

We went on a hike at Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest and took a couple pics. It had originally been on the itinerary for Thursday morning. It was nice to get back to one with nature after I had spent the rest of my weekend disturbing it.

My nephew, ThatCamryGuy, was supposed to come up with me but he was tied up with work so his little brother rode came with me instead.

We'll be leaving tomorrow and I'll put some pics up tomorrow night.
