On way home hit a dog

Yeah you read it right. Erin (my girlfriend) and I were on our way back from the Dragon at about 8:30pm when a dog jumped out in front of me and I slammed right into him. The freak thing about it is he was shoved into my front bumper, stuck between the front bumper and the a/c compressor! I came around front and his feet were sticking straight out of my front end! He took out my radiator and f'd up my front end, there ws radiator fluid all over the place. The even freakier thing is that after ripping my bumper off to get him out, HE WAS ALIVE! The damn thing hit the ground and took off running He was limping, but he ran right into the woods! I hit him going about 50mph, I was going bout 70 but slammed on my breaks. Erin and I are ok, just a little rattled. My car on the other hand needs a new front bumper and lip, most likely a/c compressor and radiator plus whatever else. I felt so bad for that poor dog. It looked like a little beagle or something, and you could see him moving round inside my bumber. It was the most f'd up thing I have ever seen. Man and I was bitching about that little scratch on my lip, now I am gonna need a whole new front end! Other than that the dragon was awesome! Hope everyone makes it home safe. Look out for dogs!

Dang, hate to hear man. I hope you get the car fixed back soon. If your deductible is $500 or less it might be worth it to go through your ins.

Sorry to hear about the accident with the dog. I know it sucks because I am the other member that had his front bumper cracked by hitting a dog earlier this week. I live in Tellico Plains Tn which for those of you familiar with the area of the Dragon, it is at the foot of the Cherohala Skyway in the same general vicinity of the Dragon. Nobody around here keeps their dogs tied up and seeing dogs hit on the sides of the road is very common. There is no way you can avoid hitting one if it decided to run out in front of you at the last minute, especially at night. It has nothing to do with how fast you are driving unless you want to drive 10mph of something. Around here it seems nobody has their dogs spayed or neutered so they just reproduce and all of the offspring just run around unchecked, I would hardly call most of them your typical household pets.

Im getting my new front bumper cover installed a week from Monday. I just wanted to let the op know he is not the only one this has happened to recently and I hope you get it fixed soon with little problems.

Zombie Dog. It came out of the pet cemetary. It was under your bumper for a reason. Stealing your HP. watch out.
