Todays drive on Cherohala Skyway/Dragon loop

Since I live only 5 miles from the Cherohala Skyway I thought I would take a drive up the Skyway this morning and snap a few pictures for you. I know my photo skills leave something to be desired. I would have snapped a few more but I was having too much fun to stop. I only saw 1 other car the entire time up the Skyway from Tellico( where I live). It is 31 miles from Tellico to the top of the Skyway, all National Forest, lots of twisty roads. I would have taken more on some of the funner curves, but I was just having too much damn fun. Here you go, it make take multiple posts because I am certainly not one of the most tech savy people

Oh wow. I can't wait. I've planned to go to my grandparents house (they live in Tellico Plains) with my gf and take a day to drive on the Skyway and the Dragon.

I'll be sure to bring my camera!

One more picture, maybe I have already posted it , I have lost track now. Sorry for the multiple replies,it was the only way I could get multiple pictures today, Im not sure what is wrong.

By the way, today I left home about 8:45 am and had free run of the roads with absolutely no traffic. I started to see some traffic around 10:00am. When you all come down be sure to run this loop as early in the morning as you can drag your sorry butts out of bed,it will be worth it. These pictures only begin to show how fun it is,like I said there are more scenic places on it than these pictures with even more dramatic twisties. I was just having too much fun to stop and my wife was tired of shooting picture for me while I was driving. There area also many other great roads around here to drive on.

Let me apologize now for all the 350Z's that will be on the dragon this weekend for ZDayZ. Most are staying at Fontana Village Resort and there will be car show there on Saturday. They are a friendly bunch, you should check it out. I am envious of you for living so close.

No problem, everyone should be able to enjoy these roads. I hope everyone has a great time.
