Texas folks?

Hey guys,

Very real possibility me and my wife will be cruising up to the Dragon meet in my FBP Si. You Texas folks that are possibly going, anyone interested in meeting up somewhere on the Texas board and caravaning to Tennessee/NC? Would be fun to see a bunch of FG2's cruisin' down the highway together :) Heck, anyone in between Texas and the meet, would love to meet up with you on the way and caravan in as a big group.

16 hours, give or take an hour or two here depending on how much I trust my radar detector and what states I can use it in

Can I meet up and caravan too? I am coming from Las Cruces, New Mexico, and I drive through the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Oh, and has anyone reserved cabins yet?

Quite a distance for me; other civics would make the time go by more quickly. Taken from MapQuest:

Total Est. Time: 23 hours, 54 minutes
Total Est. Distance: 1593.08 miles

Just quality bonding time for me and my civic

I have enough rock chips as it is. I'll be staying in Austin. If there is something close to here, I'll go..

you could just beat the rocks at their own game and cover the front of your car in blue painters tape :)

NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I have to seriously consider going.

I think the best thing for the TX folk would be to meet up in Shreveport, LA. It's the funnel point for Austin and Dallas, and not to far out of the way for the Houston kids. You gotta go north sometime.

Or we could divide up into the 20 crew and the 10 crew and try to hook up east of Mississippi.

Right before departure, we should elect caravan wing commanders that the plebs can form up on. The wing commanders would be responsible for communicating with the other eastbound wings and keeping the chickies together.

What have I gotten myself into, or rather what have ya'll gotten yourselves into.

There will probably be like, three of us.
