That design is great, plus I am partial to gray shirts myself.

Though we might consider making the logo on the back smaller. The design is great, I am thinking more along the lines of aesthetics. When people wear the shirt you have to be mindful of where the logo will be on their body and how that will affect the image.

I am curious as to alternatives to the current placement of the 8thCivic logo. It looks a little out of place.

What if we moved the logo to the side and maybe had the dragon's tail curl through the 8? (the more subtle the better I think) Making the logo a lighter color (as if the opacity were changed, though I know it can't since it is printed on a t-shirt but you get the idea) might be a nice touch.

Just throwing some ideas out there.

BTW, the little knight guy reminds me of a character from Kirby's Adventure.

All ideas are considered, try doing major surgery in Adobe Illustrator with a created vetor graphic, no simple task. :)

Won't be threading the logo with the tail (at least not now, doesn't look good either, did a quick test), will be going to bed now... :)

I compared the two quite a bit to decide which I liked better and I think I will side with the new one. While it doesn't display the logo as prominently, the real showcase is the artwork. The smaller logo doesn't dominate the art as much. Also it is more compact on the shirt which is nice as the previous setup was a bit too sprawling.

The only thing that stands out for me now is the blank space between the dragon's feet and the lower caption. Would it make sense to put the caption to the right of the knight? Not sure if that would make it look to bunched up or not. Thoughts?

I see where you are going... but instead of words moving, how about drawing in some ground or blades of grass or similar. Really not much of anything, but just a touch or a squiggle.
