The white car will work as long as the background is always a color other than white. White car = White knight = Good Guy

... hahaha, the car needs some rice!
And don't forget "II"

Or 2nd Conquering of the Dragon. With the two slashes meaning 2, it is not obvious that is what is meant

If you look a post or two above the one you saw, it has the II and the text below it...

~Cr8tive... I still like the valve Caps

THe slashes are subtle, looks like the Dragon tore into the soul of the Driver, but the driver is still standing, wearing the T-shirt proudly, battle scars and all, triumphant over the Dragon.. conquoring it for the second time, next year, three slashes, the next, the guts fall out..

~Cr8tive... la la la

Of the three in post 63, I like the third the best with the red slashes. I like how the where/when is now separated onto two lines as it fits better there. It might be better with the Where above the When and have the same font size and font as the "Conquers..." line, then again, maybe not. :)

I noticed that you now have a scale of the dragon on the white car, that is a different look.

Ok, my two cents...

Last year's design was me going overboard and having far too much free time. I wish I could say I had put as much thought into it as stevieray believes, but truth is that it was a stock photo I yanked from a photo website (small royalty fee). Fit quite nicely though.

Cr8tive_leo, your design is VERY close to what I was working on prior to my untimely temporary departure from this site. I like it a lot. It's subtle and elegant. I still feel like it's missing something though...not sure what that something is. Keep throwing ideas into it though. There's still plenty of time. Again, just my 2 cents.

I'll submit something probably at the last hour since I'm playing catchup from being MIA.

Thanks dude!

I like the third one best so far, I haven't thrown that much time into this (about three hours in total or less) Will be tweaking it more and more, I have nothing but time now. I liked your design for last eyar, nice greens and yellows.

I'm on short term disability, today was the day that I find out if I get to go back to work or not, m'eh Doc is keeping me on my iv for another month, so I have tonnes of free time to fiddle with this now *grins* woot!

~Cr8tive.. being home bound sucks A**.. yes this means I haven't driven my Honda for... ooo... since Jan 26... *pouts*

All this looks like fun! I've decided I'm going to try it myself. I downloaded GIMP for Mac. We'll see what I can do.

Nah, GIMP, I use that on my linux box, Adobe Illustrator, if you want that logo to fill a side of a skysraper, I can do that! *grins* All vector based. (reason behind a simple design too)

Input to what you guys want to see is always welcome. I have ideas, I actually trolled hrough the 'Conquor the Drgon' threads and found the mention of the civic in the logo soemhow, I was thinking tht, that just fueled the desire to try it out, and it looks sweet.
Good , bad, silly, insane or just totally weird suggestions are all read, maybe laughed at.. scowled at, but never dismissed, I always try ideas out here and see how they look, if it doesn't work, then it doesn't.
Did I mention the valve caps would look sweet?

Maybe change the car color to add contrast (granted this only applies to a white background). Silver car? Black car with silver windows? (as long as the shirts won't be black) I would say red car, but already enough red out there

dragon with a small flame job?
