I'm driving 13-14 hours.
I drove a little bit of the blue ridge parkway last year in a rental car. The whole area is one big exploded spaghetti bowl of God's own best of the best roads. There are roads on the map that look like the cartographer had a seizure while drawing them. I assure you they are real, and even more fuxed than they look on the map. Put it to you this way, the reason I bought a sporty car was for this trip. The Si is simply a tool, selected from a many other tools, with this area of the country in mind. The blue Ridge Mountains are the reason that my car spends more time on jackstands in the garage than on the road. Every mod, every coat of wax, every decision I make is for the singular goal of eating every mile of twisty Tennessee road up. If you are only 11 hours away, shame on you for not haveing gone there already. ![]() |
