okay so guys, seriously, i'm from MN and do you think a 18 hour drive straight would be okay with the 07 si's? or should i drive like 9 sleep at a hotel and then drive the other 9 the next day. Because if i'm comming i know i'm going to be comming with my wife, bro, or pops which can all drive and very capable of making a 18 hour trip straight.
edit: what if i was running a sc by then? would 18 hours straight still be okay? Last edited by Shinobi; 03-19-2007 at 10:27 PM. |

I think you would be just fine at cruising speeds.
If you are cruising, you aren't boosting. I drive to take my sister to school sometimes, 8 hour round trip...have done it many of times easliy in my SI..even when it was 90, air blasting entire time. You would be able to make it in less time, mapquest is usually high. I hope to be boosting by then too, says 9 1/2hrs for me...with boost = about 6 Going down there on May 14th with my GF to check it out, (only time I get off school and work lately). Will see how the drive is, should be nice...I like to drive. |

I think I am going to get a front protector to throw on for the trips
If I just got the full nose mask and threw it on for the drive down there and and back, would I be able to take it off while I am there? Anyone have one, I don't know how easy it is to pull it on and off. Last edited by slicknick; 03-21-2007 at 12:34 PM. |
