Cost of Jap spec k20-R plus the cost of shipping plus the cost of frieght and lord knows what else.....

Ehhh just watch the video and youll see what a type R engine can do in a rsx-s chassi. Heres the link. I love this video tru dedication 60 years old and still racing.

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/b...2f6cb9cf6b.htm

if you look carefully in the video when he races the pickup he runs a 12.48 all motor. Thats fast
the only way you are going to make your s a type r is if you import a type r.

don't forget about the recaros and the matching carpet, and you will need the type r lip kit and also need to repaint your car to championship white since the type r is not offered in premium white pearl, also you will need to delete the sunroof as well. that is all i can think of for now.

We look forward to seeing you there, Uncle Sid!

Let me take this moment to clarify a few things. This is an 8thCivic.com meet, not an 8th generation Civics only meet. If you are a member or guest of a member, it doesn't matter what you drive. My nephew, ThatCamryGuy, will be going. Last year, he drove a stock 1992 Camry and hung with all the Si's! This year, he'll be in a 2000 Trans Am WS6. etf's wife drove their Mini (aka Mean Mr. Bean). Uncle Sid, your bro's 'balt will be welcome there, too. I'm really looking forward to checking out the other cars. Just don't feel left out when we don't include your cars in the 8th generation Civic group photos. We'll make sure and get photos of the "other cars" together, too.

Also, there seemed to be some confusion on the part of one member about this thread being in the South forum. The only reason this is posted in the South forum is because that is where it is occurring. Last year, half of the states represented were not in the South region. This year, we have folks from Michigan, New York, Vermont, and even three members from Canada interested! 8CCD is NOT a South regional meet. It is a meet for anyone from anywhere who not only wants to meet and hang out with other members and check out each other's cars, but also for those people who want to do some spirited driving on one of the best roads in world. It is for driving enthusiasts everywhere!

I'm going depending on when college starts, and I think I can get my Step-dad to come up in his 318is. I'm alos going to try to convince one of my best friends to come; he'll be driving a new WRX come summer.

Hey, I'm trying to see if a buddy of mine from work could go with us. Mofo drives an SE-R spec V... killer car!

And if my cousin could go, he'll bring his girlfriend's NHB LX. or his girlfriend's brother's boosted TypeS.

WOT!

Man ive been speakin with some other people about the dragon. I got few hits. Im really looking forward to the trip.

There should be a list of the people that want to go on the scouting trip as well, not just the one in sept. I know im rollin in april with or without the scouts but i have a few people that will be rollin with me in april. So If the scouting trip has a list it will turn out to be a nice size. LOL

So excited about the whole thing.

How many times has 8thcivic gone to the dragon?

I saw the 06 pics.

I cant wait to use the new equipment i got from chasecam on the dragon we are gonna make one tight A$$ video and take atrillion pictures. LOL

isnt there gonna be a scouting mission?
That will be like a brief preview for the people that cant wait till sept.....
like me. LOL
