Latest word from Marsha at Tapoco Lodge:

As of right now we could block all rooms in the lodge and all but 2 cabin rooms. (Santeetlah #1 & #2 are already reserved.) This would give you 22 rooms with private baths plus the 4 economy rooms that share 2 bathrooms.

We don't have 'group' rates so the cost per room would be the same. Those rates will be set by the end of the week.

We would block all 26 rooms until April 1 with no charge. After April 1 we would release the rooms not reserved by credit card. Everyone who had a reservation would have until August 6 (30 day cancellation on groups) to cancel without being charged. If all rooms are filled, anyone who didn't get a room with us could be on a wait list and we would call them if someone cancelled.

I'll block the rooms now until I hear back from you.

I told my husband, Dirk Cody, you were going to be emailing T&T about help with the Saturday meal so he is expecting to hear from you. We can decide about meals closer to September.

I'm going to try to get the official information thread up tonight. It will be a locked thread so continue to express your interest and discuss the meet in this thread. The reason I am locking it is so nobody has to overwhelmed with a super-long thread to find out the details. I will continue to watch this thread and note who's interested.

Since I haven't been there before, these rooms...how many beds are in each? I'm thinking, if I come alone, I wouldn't mind bunking up with someone to share the room costs (and to help everyone stick together).

That dragon placard is SWEET ASS!

anyone know whose this is and/or where they got it? I don't like any placards, but I could easily do something like this on my car, no problem. Much more than a sticker.

etf brought them. He sold them for $10 I think. I'm sure he will bring more this year. I'll email him about it.

Hey thats my car...LOL. yes etf had a stash of them in a secret location where they were watched 24/7. I am sure he will have some this year to.
