MS, LA, AK, AL (aka the south) caravan

I can leave pretty much any day of the week so thats not a problem for me. The plan would be to meet in Birmingham, and caravan out. We can all stop at my house or whatever to rest if anybody needs to. I can cook lunch thursday or friday too.

Anybody up for our group caravan in, would be nice to have a few civics rolling together and to show up the PA crew.

GOOD NEWS!!

They cleaned up the rock slide, so we can go up I-59 from Birmingham, hit I-24 then I-whatever to the highways that run straight into the dragon. I travel this way almost all the time, at 90mph it takes 3 and a half hours. Thats what my friend says at least, I would never ever do such a thing because that would get me banned from the site obviously.

Let me check my route. Not sure if my schedule will allow me to go up during the week though.

Edit: I can change my route from Starkville through Birmingham to Starkville through Hoover. It only adds 10 minutes to swing into Hoover.

Edit 2: You have to go through ATL?

Very interested! By the time the meet is school has already started though, pretty crucial for me since this will be my last year at community college and be transferring to MS State!!

I really do want to attend this though. About 6 hours away though from B-Ham. I'm all the way in Gulfport.

It's really not up to me. I don't live there. Hoover is only 10 minutes away... Did you even read the OP?

Hoover is a suburb of Birmingham. My parents house is right off of 459, so it would be a pretty central place to meet.

Just need to figure out when everybody is going to be able to meet there.

if you plan on hitting the run from the south iit would be best to avoid i24 through chattanooga m-f 430pm - 700 pm due to traffic

We can ride out from Starkville together, I'll have my v1 by then so I plan on rolling to Birmingham

After that I'll lead, I trust modern technology

And yes we have to go through ATL, i believe I sent you a message on this but if you didn't get it its thanks to some bad rockslides.

Let's keep this tread updated. I am in Jackson, MS and have always wanted to go to the Dragon! I am sure I can get a few people on board in Jackson to head that way when the time comes.
