Tail of the Dragon Meet 2006: Pics and Videos

Ok... Since I'm the first one home from the Dragon, I'll do the honors... Not the best, but I at least I tagged the books. I'll post up my diary for the event later on, since I'm heading out for a house party... More of a booze party than uhh... ok... here it goes. (Sorry for the hi-res, just felt too lazy to edit... and no subs, YET!) CivicWithNavi will more than likely be posting the video footages of the Dragon run, so just hang-on.

I just want to thank Cookstar for organizing this awesome event. And others that made it out there. I've had a great time and experienced the cutting edge (literally). Anyhow, drive home safe and I'll see ya all online.

Enjoy.

This is cheap gas in ATL, JOJA baby!!! Premium at 2.59. In NC, an arm and a leg...

This is my car... After coming home. *The brownish one*

Wow! Awesome pics! Looks like there's a good turnout. And I see some members are sporting their 8thcivic shirts.

Thanks for the pics.

Awesome pics. The cars and the background look great together. There is nothing like a group of Si's together, out having fun and enjoying mother nature. Great pics!!!!

How many people showed up?

And damn 2.59 for premium? That's wild.

You guys should make this an annual thing. I'd come next year. Do it around the same time as NOPI.

That would be awesome. I might be able to make it out in two years with an Si of my own. :)

Plus, the money you'd save in gas alone would make the trip worth it. Better bring some extra tanks for the trip home.

Actually I got back at around 7pm =) I was the one with the Habby Cat red

Si with the SI emblems on the front quaterpanels, and the dragon above the

Si on the back with the BBS wheels. I had some great fun running with you

guys, I was suprised at how well I could keep up with the modded Sis with

the Tires I had on during our first run, I got some good action shots via

eddie out the sunroof with the camera. Here are my pictures =P

Tree of Shame at Deal's Gap

More of the Tree

We were all being followed by a yellow mini all day I tell ya.

Me chilling at Deals Gap infront of said tree of death

The Dragon motorcycle heaven

Stop looking at my ass

Grr from Invader Zim came along in the center seat

The damn Dam

Suck in the gut fellas

I was waiting for an electrical explosion to hit my friend eddie by the

stop sign

Si and the Mountain lalala

Over the Hills to Grandma's house...

Stalking us....

Some of the View from the Damn Dam

I wanted to go explore but nobody wanted to go

The sexah dragon emblem like five people bought =) 10 bucks and it was

yours yay! I also got the black License bracket that says "318 turns 11

miles" up top and then on the bottom "Deal's Gap Dragon Slayer" so it is

all good.

Fear the HFP and the Dragon oo ahhh

Anyone need a spare headlight?

Judy 1 Dragon 0 scorecard backbrace you go girl!

Si action shots woot woot

Someone is about to cross into the other lane hehe

Just keep on following me that's it

One of the Over looks that could fit all our cars

Hey a river

The mini found us again and is blocking me in

It torments me so

It even has a retro interior

I arrive at the start of 129 at 7am

Someone forgot to tell fedex that the dragon is not for trucks, this was at

7:30 am so thankfully nobody on it yet

There ya go lol enjoy it =P I had a blast, look forward to it next year.

I wish I could've gone. SoCal meet was fun, but it looks like you guys actually had modded cars there. Everyone at our meet was pretty much stock.

Looks like fun, and I definately want one of those emblems!
