Wow, HondaGrl's car looks great, I love those new wheels even better than the last ones.

Reminds me of Skyline Drive, but performance driving is not welcome there, though often attempted. I have one of the rarest souveneirs from Skyline, a warning citation. They don't hand out many of those.

I ummm, held up pretty decent. At the most, there was at least 13+ seconds between the group and me. (my first 3 minutes on the Dragon.) but after the 5th minute during the continuous switchbacks, I loved it. The car would transfer weight ever so beautifully. It truly felt like bouncing side to side on a trampoline.

With my noob driving skills, I felt more comfortable taking it with TWO lanes, or 1 1/2. I stuck some of the turns perfectly, and man... did it feel good. But for some reason, the right turns are more forgiving than the left ones. I think it's just the angle and placement of the A-Pillar that effects my visibility.

I'll stop here, way to much for a pict. thread.

You cannot use both lanes on the dragon. You will kill someone doing that! Bikes fly by at 80+ MPH at times. You could hit one and kill them, or force them off the road like that. If you can't stay on the right side of the road slow down until your skills get better. You have to know your limits and stay within them bro. I know I can't hang with ETF (or Mr. bean if I had to place a bet on it, Oh what a great Mini) so I don't push it that far and stay in my limits.

The meet was a blast both on and off the road as the party went into the wee hours of the morning. To all that were there, it was great to meet you all.
To all that didn't make it, Sorry and hope you can make it next year.

Props go out to the only EX to show up and to the Toyota/ (civic undercover) that will be a legend on the dragon after this weekend...LOL.

Vids are in the works as we speak, mine will take a while to edit (wind noise and other stuff). Cooks tape will be up to him when I get it to him. We got held up alot on the dragon by slow bikes and cars. And some things on there that we may not want others to see -000- speedo Cough Cough...lol

Oh yeah, you definitely don't want to Apex the roads. If you don't get chewed out by a cop, the bikers will.

Save apexing for the track, stick to your lane when on public roads.

I got Eddies memory card so I am going to upload those photos when I get back, he got some really great shots. I had a blast, sorry for the food poisioning it might have been the flu. My wife, Eddie & his wife, myself, Eddie's son, and one other friend all have had it, vomiting and so forth I had it Thursday, it is only a 24 hour bug thank god. Thanks for all the comments, I had a blast guys, I look forward to it next year when I am modified =) Or maybe I will throw one and rent Sebring Intl Raceway for one weekend with the PCA or something and we can go down to Sebring, FL for a track weekend! I am thinking about it hehe. Oh yeah ETF was behind me for the first run up and said I maintained my line while still apexing, I was on the rear end of some modified ones, I think the GG Si was infront of me. I kept up with them pretty good, I was going to show k20 how to drive the dragon fast but we didn't get a chance, tell kenny next year man I will take you with me up there just us for a few runs away from the group or let ya ride with me and see the line-up points I was talking about. Stay tuned for my new pictures, I have another 62.

Lucky I have a high resolution of the pictures here are two good ones I got of the group and the backround

Posted speed limit is 30 mph, but not really anywhere for a cop to sit and I doubt they would chase on those roads, just my opinion heh.

They sit on the side of the road in a van and shoot video, then they go to the stoping points and give the tickets out, or lock them up if the speed is outrageous, to the ones that they can find...

They were out there Saturday when we went through. And there was a bike down just around the corner from them.
