I wish I could've been there. It would be pretty cool if this was an annual event.

There was 14 Si's... I was the last NBP to the right... Not shown in pics because I had lost the group when they were about 10+ seconds ahead of me. I eventually showed up and there was Dawn, waiting at the entry part of the dam, taking a pic of me. Blaaah!

And like I said... CivicWithNavi will post some great video footages of the run.

K20 I told ya to follow me into the Tail if you want to apex correctly sheesh =P Yeah the mini was supposed to be there (Correct me if I am wrong, still trying to remember who was who) I think it was driven by ETs wife she had the dragon emblems too all stocked up in the evil mini =P Yeah the mini was cool but it still looked like a stalker in a sea of 8th civics =P

Jeff T.

EDIT: *sniff* I am sad, someone told me I was sad over on TOV because I bought a dragon sticker. I guess he was talking about the silver emblem that what, like 5 or so cars ended up sticking on =P Oh well I like it, to remember the dragon and the meet, plus it looks cool. I do not think I could do better than 10 bucks on ebay either. See why I am thinking about stopping the posts over at TOV, you get bashed by some stupid people all the time. Oh well had a blast, I had some of the pictures without captions up at TOV at about 8pm or so heh so I beat ya to the punch k20, glad to hear you made it back alright though. We went up the dragon once, got to wave to killboy guys, had a bunch of bikers wave us by, then I let Eddie drive so he could say he drove the dragon and then we went home =P If you guys do it again I will stay next time, I just came in rather late to be able to take off the entire fri - sun days and so forth but if I know in advance, no problems. I gotta go back to Gatlingburg this upcoming weekend to stay with my wife for her company picnic, oh boy I hate to say it but if Eddie was telling me to slow down (and he likes going fast,) my wife would be screaming lol, she cannot stand acceleration in a straight line let alone on a twist =P Of course once eddie drove the car he said "Now I know why you were telling me not to worry when you were taking the turns at 60+ mph, this thing steers like a dream, you barely touch the wheel and it goes. Sorry I told you to slow down" so it is all good =)

Yeah... I really wanted to take on the Dragon with ya again, but Kenny had to be back home and rest up for work... I would have followed ya the couple times that we were moving, but I couldn't keep up... In one of the drives around the city. I was in 6th place. And there was a big gap between 5th and 6th, ai me. Well, next time, most diffinately I will follow you on the Dragon.

EDIT: sorry to hear about TOV. Besides... You drive an 8thGen...

BTW going downhill on the Dragon ROCKS!!!

k20 np let Kenny know he was cool, Eddie and I enjoyed hanging out with ya. Yeah the first run up from the damn I think I was 5th in line with etf behind me, so I think hondagurl with her blue and cookstar were infront but I kept riding their behinds and I am stock.. It is mostly lines and some good rubber, the BBS and the G-Force tires sure did help though, I barely made a sound at extreme turns =P I cannot wait until next year when I actually have the mods done and made a few calls to the PR guys at Bilstein and Brembo for my discounts =P I will be insane on that thing.. Mostly on the dragon you dip into the outside corner on the lead in, but do not go too far left to cut the center line, and you will pull yourself out with gas. I had to brake a few times because of the GG si infront hitting em on maybe due to the cars infront of them, but I had no probs keeping up with the modded Sis on the full throttle run (the one we did first thing on saturday) the one without the dumb traffic most of the way =P

By the way we did get to see one biker flipped over, wonder if anyone got a shot of that =P He was ok though guys no worries. At least I was the only one to run into a damn 18 wheeler at 7am on the dragon lol.

Jeff T.

Well, I'm back now! The event really went off without a hitch (except that I got food poisoning last night). Everyone had an incredible time. There's little doubt that this will become an annual event. I'm tired and still not feeling too good so I'm going to go rest. I'm going to start working on uploading photos sometime later. We look forward to seeing a lot more of you next year!

Yep... It would have been cool to have an Admin/Mod there. Dont matter the car, just had straight out fun. It was so freaking exhilarating for me to make my run on the Dragon, being it was my FIRST run...

I ummm, held up pretty decent. At the most, there was at least 13+ seconds between the group and me. (my first 3 minutes on the Dragon.) but after the 5th minute during the continuous switchbacks, I loved it. The car would transfer weight ever so beautifully. It truly felt like bouncing side to side on a trampoline.

With my noob driving skills, I felt more comfortable taking it with TWO lanes, or 1 1/2. I stuck some of the turns perfectly, and man... did it feel good. But for some reason, the right turns are more forgiving than the left ones. I think it's just the angle and placement of the A-Pillar that effects my visibility.

I'll stop here, way to much for a pict. thread.

I got back around 4:30 or so. Somehow lost the great Cookstar on the way back home on I-40 but no worries. This weekend was a blast and can't wait till we meet up at the dragon again. Going to go take a nap now.
