Rather than reinventing the wheel I'm going to pirate some info from previous threads. My thanks to those who have put it together in the past, we're only building from that and hopefully moving the event forward.

Starting at 10:30am just like 2010.

Just like last year there are a few rules that need to be followed to ensure we have a safe, fun event that can continue at this location for years to come. I have a very low tolerance for douchy behavior and will not be associated with it. I seriously doubt there will be an issues but it needs to be said:


- NO booze.
- NO burn outs or excessive revving.
- NO speeding around the park.
- NO blaring music or loud bass.
- NO parking on the grass.
- NO STEALING.

I can't believe I have to even state the last one but it may have been an issue in the past. WTF man?!?!


The organizers of this event will not deal with shenanigans. We’ll let the police handle it if we have to. Remember, we’re sharing the park with other groups and need to be respectful of their space, time, and comfort. If you’re acting like an idiot you’ll be asked to leave. It’s up to the police beyond that.


Lastly – this is an 8th Civic meet and ask that you do not post or advertise this on other forums. Friends are welcome provided they can follow the rules but THIS IS THE ONLY FORUM THIS SHOULD BE POSTED OR ADVERTISED ON.


OK! With those details covered here’s what we’ve got so far:


Event location is the same as 2010 and the address is above. Please post in this thread if you will be attending. There are two fees for this event. One paid to the park upon entry and one to us to cover rental cost and other costs associated with setting this up (food items, raffle tickets, prizes, etc.)There is a $8 entrance fee to get in the park and there will also be a $5 fee to attend the event. The entrance fee is to be paid to the park upon arrival (bring cash) as is the $5 fee for us. We will be able to take cash on the day of the event when you arrive. You will get your raffle ticket when you pay.


Why the fee? This year we’ll be in lot 4 (holds 120 cars) which is right next to the covered pavilion which will be ours to use. The pavilion is good for up to 200 people so we’ll have a place to chill and eat under cover. This comes at a cost and the fee helps cover this. The remainder of the fee will be used for and misc. supplies needed for this event. Everything will be used to make the event better!


FOOD – This year we will be cooking our own food. We’ll create a separate list for who’s bringing what and we’ll also use whatever monies we have leftover from the fee to purchase extra drinks, ice, food, charcoal, etc.


And that’s what we have so far. As we receive additional info and sponsors we’ll update this thread accordingly.

BTW, should everyone that is listed show up we are going to overflow into another lot.

We are booked for lot 4. The best overflow lot looks like lot 3. Please be respectful of other park users. Park together and don't interfere with their weekend! Thanks!

We'll have plenty of covered picnic space in the pavilion for everyone to hang but some people may have to park in another lot. Sorry! No biggie though, plenty of space for everyone.
