Question HFP suspension kit for Si Sedan

Anyone know the spring rates for this kit? Anyone have it on their ride? Pics? Opinions?

Thanks in advance.

There is a bunch of info and other opinions on the HFP suspension in the suspension section of the forum.

I have it installed on my FA5. I like the drop and ride. Kit (spring AND strut) is engineered for the respective models to work correctly with weight and weight distribution. I can't comment on the spring rates off the top of my head, but I am sure they may be listed in the suspension part of the forum as well.

Overall opinion is I really like the kit. I am happy with it and gives a nice subtle drop. No more than an inch and no less than .8 inches when fully settled. To me the engineering between matched spring rates and strut valving is worth the $550 compared to the current offerings.

Hope that helped you a little bit.

Yes. Good info. Thank you very much. Unfortunately, a majority of info that I found in the suspension forum was related to how the kit LOOKS and not as much on how it improved the actual ride or performance of the car.

It does give a slightly stiffer ride when compared to stock FA5 suspension.

How about the elimination of nose dive under heavy braking? Reduce in sway during cornering or long sweeping ramps? Thanks again in advance.

I did notice, and so did others, that there was less nose dive under cornering. I am going to assume there is less nose dive under heavy braking. There was reduced sway in cornering and long sweeping ramps; vehicle felt planted to the ground better.

To compliment the HFP suspension is a nice set of summer tires which have made it even better in turns for me.
