Ticket, need help

So I was on my way to Honda to take care of a flat tire (ok slow leak tire). I get infront of Honda in Lia Enfield and right before I turn in some cop decides to pull me over.

So I pull into the muffler shop since he signaled for me to go that way. He gets out of the car and tells me I have to unlock my back doors so he can look in. He then informs me he wants my license and registration and insurance card. Then the asshole says that it is illegal in Connecticut to have a muffler designed to make noise...So the dude writes me a 225$ "unnec noise muffler" ticket.

Granted I have the LSD catback for the FA5 and a Vibrant header w/HFC. It's loud, but not as loud as any Chevelle in the area, or as loud as some other cars, or the bikes, etc etc. So I'm going to fight the ticket, I think.

Do I got a case? I'm not sure on the laws but I know Enfield doesn't have a noise ordinance, otherwise a lot of cars and bikes wouldn't be on the road. What do you guys think?

Most cops give a fix it ticket? Put the stock axle back on and tell the judge that its back to stock.

Exhaust tickets are the biggest joke and waste of time ticket hands down! Ive been given one as a pack of harleys went by with straight pipes blarrin, and I just looked at the cop and laughed! This is like a tint ticket,...easy to spot, easy to issue, and easy money for the state/county.

go to court and tell them that the exhaust does not exceed the decibel limit based on state law and then the judge will ask the cop if he tested the amount of decibels on your car and he wont have shit and youll have your ticket dismissed. thats easy!!! dont pay it! go to court!

well if there's a test to be administered and its not done, then how the hell do they know its illegal right?

if they dont use that gun tester thingy when then give a tint ticket in nyc, goodbye ticket. its like telling me i was doing 75mph in a 65 just cuz it looked like it and not using a radar to tag me. stupid cops.

I'm thinking since he said he has no jurisdiction in the parking lot that i pulled over in where he wrote and issued my ticket, and the fact there was no decibel reading done to prove whether or not I'm over the limit, I'm going to get it overturned.
