Tint Q for Mass peeps...

I've never had my windows tinted other than from the factory... what are you guys using for a % that doesnt get you nailed on inspection or by 5.0? With the summer right around the corner I know I'm going to miss the tint...

ok...after a little more research.... MA limit is 35%...so I think I answered my own question!

Visit this guy if you are going to do it yourself. He carries precut pieces.

ya but jus to let u know, regarless with tint legal 35%..i can guarantee u the 5.0 will pull u over anyways no matter what tint % u got

I went to Ziebart, they said the 43% is the legal limit, and the make you sign a waiver if you go any lower as you can be fined for anything lower, or your vehicle may not pass inspection.

43% isn't all that dark, but it gave my car a different look, and I don't have to worry about the cops.

well i got 5 % in my back windshield and vents then i got 15 in the back door and 35 in the front doors and vents .and i havent got nothin yet .knock on wood.but the legal limit is 35 % all the way around i asked a cop the other day
o ya when i got them done the place where i got it done they said that they dont really care as long as the front is 35.but it also kinda depends on where u live in ma too

They wont pull you over for 35%..never seen or heard of that happening. 35% isn't that dark and it should def. not cause any problems. Just from my own experience.

I got 30%. I havnt gotten pulled over. I havnt gotten an inspection sticker yet. I'm scared I might fail. I have to get it in June.

Cops in my area will pull you over just because they have nothing better to do... I'm not too worried about it, but just curious what others are using.

heres abetter pic of my ca .if ur worrie abot gettin a ticket go with 35 all theway around but if not go a lil darker in the back .like go with 35 in front then 15 in the back windows and back windshield. i i got 35 in front and 15 in my back windows but 5 on the back windshield.
i think it looks petty good i wished i did the back doors 5 but its too late now.and plus it would look wierd goin fom 5 to 35 . lol
