Capital District Drive To 8thcivicfest 08

As inspired by the mid-atlantic guys, I figured I'd set up a thread to gauge interest up here. I know this is months away, but just trying to gauge interest and see what everybody's plans are for this. This meet should be huge, with 150+ people signed up, so I'm trying to stir up some interest in the capital district and see who wants to roll down as a group. As we go, we'll pick up those Hyde Park kids and whoever else wants to go.

Update: Looking like we'll be leaving around 9:00a.m., heading south, getting off in Kingston to cross the river, heading down 9 to Hyde Park to pick up those kids, and continuing on down through Poughkeepsie, across the bear mountain bridge, and down the palisades. (I think I know what I'm talking about

)

Our meeting place will be HVCC in the main lot with the sign at the entrance. Easy to find and right by 787. Theres a Dunkin Donuts right there incase somebody wants coffee or a strawberry frosted donut before departing. Or is that just me?

We will be leaving at 9:00 give or take a few minutes. We should be arriving in Hyde Park around 10:45(safe estimate) The remaining leg will take about 1:00, unless joe decided to do 105 or whatever.

guys, i wanna come really bad, so ill drive down if i can go. dont write me down yet though, cause im not sure if im free, but if there is no conflicts, im there.

(im trying to get into college for hockey, so im in the process of many showcases, tryouts, etc, so i dont want to commit to this before i know if i have any hockey things going on)

Ive been thinking about it nonstop the past few days, cant wait.
